Freedome meets comfort
It can’t be said often enough: Our name says it all. Såndgøld Alpine Glamping combines wild nature with luxury camping.
Our camper and caravan sites are built around a natural pond; the view is impressive, and the location is ingenious. Situated between mountains and forests, yet very close to many activities, sights, and museums. These are the secret ingredients for a perfect vacation.
The bathrooms in our Greenhouse, centrally located and super modern, also have the special feature that each bathroom, with a shower, sink, and toilet, can be locked separately. Sorry, there’s no typical camper feeling here. And for those who like it even more exclusive, we have our rentable bathrooms, so nothing stands in the way of a temporary home.
We have five categories for you, ranging from big to standard size; there is something for everyone. The pitches are flat, partly with gravel for parking, partly with meadow for relaxing. And we say it right away, electricity and fresh and waste water is available on each site and is included.
That is our all-round carefree package for you.

Frequently asked questions
Are there any questions?
Just make a non-binding request and we will take care of it.
What can I find on my pitch?
So that you can enjoy a relaxed and unforgettable vacation, all our pitches are equipped with electricity and fresh and waste water. The grey water disposal takes place directly at the pitch. If you don’t have a hose, we will lend you one. We will open a large drainage and disposal station next year.
And the black water?
In addition to the services already mentioned, we also offer a wastewater disposal station for black water. For the cassettes, there is a dedicated disposal point at our waste area, including a water connection. Of course, we also offer a traditional wastewater disposal point.
Where can I find the sanitary facilities?
Our bathrooms are located in the main building. Each bathroom is lockable and equipped with shower, sink and toilet. For even more privacy, there are 8 private bathrooms upstairs that can be rented by the day.
How far away is the nearest place?
Sand in Taufers is about 1 km away from the campsite and easy to reach on foot or with the city bus, which stops only 200 m from the campsite. The small village has everything you need: a variety of leisure activities, good bus connections, doctor and pharmacy, various shopping opportunities for food, but also for clothes, shoes and souvenirs, bank, various bars and restaurants, indoor and outdoor pool, library, Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park right on the doorstep, a magnificent mountain panorama and our highlights Taufers Castle and the Reinbach Waterfalls. The hiking and skiing paradise Speikboden is only a few minutes away from the village.
Can I bring my pet?
Your four-legged friend is very welcome and will certainly feel as comfortable as you do. We look forward to making your vacation with your faithful companion an unforgettable experience.
For your animal companion we charge 6,00 €/day.
GOOD TO KNOW: Dogs are welcome in South Tyrol as long as the general hygiene rules are respected and they are always kept on a leash. In buses, trains and cable cars it is compulsory to wear a muzzle. Muzzles can be rented at various cable car stations for a deposit.
Is it allowed to pitch a tent on a pitch?
Of course it is allowed to put up a tent on the booked pitch, but we ask to put the tent on the stony ground or alternatively to change the location of the tent every day to avoid dying of the underlying meadow.
What about sustainability?
Sustainability is important to us, so we work with local farmers. We use mainly regional organic products, try to minimize waste and even produce our own electricity with state-of-the-art solar technology in our Greenhouse.
You can also help us by carefully separating waste in our Eco Waste Station.
Together with you we want to make the world a little bit better.
